Description
This posable Harbor Plesiosaur is 100% hand made. I started with a sewn body of felt and faux fur over a wire base, stuffed tightly. His head and details are needle felted, 100% wool and soft to the touch. Needle felting is a process of tangling wool in to desired patterns and shapes using a specialized barbed needle. I start by sculpting the base shape before covering it with the desired colors in the patterns I want. There is no way to exactly replicate a needle felted projects to each one is wonderfully unique.
From nose to butt he measures 1ft long, his front pins are 8.5in from tip to tip and body with is 5in.
NOTE: This is not a “toy” if left in a bed on on the floor, rubbing up against other rough fabrics the needle felting will begin to frizz and will bead.
